Colorado Film School Clubs & Organizations

Our screenwriting club enters its fourth year of fostering excellence in writing here at CFS.  Members and non-members alike can bring in their scripts for table reading and feedback in a fun, friendly atmosphere.  We are a working club led by students for students and dedicated to helping filmmakers grow as artists and storytellers.

In addition to workshopping scripts and concepts, FADE IN has also sponsored screenwriting contests, movie nights, and Shorts Bash – a film festival and hilarious live stage performance.

While we hope you can come regularly, if you can only make it once a semester, that’s perfectly fine!  Any student is welcome at any time.  Feel free to stop by and learn more about the beautiful and demanding craft of screenwriting. Check with Will Hicks for updated meeting times and place.

CFStv is an internet-based television network dedicated to providing students a distribution outlet for original web series, web variety shows, news, information and more.  This club seeks to emulate real-world best practices in television production on a smaller, more realizable scale.

Our flagship program, CFS Now, launched in spring 2015 as a student-led news and information program for CFS students, and more shows are on the way.  Have an idea for an awesome web series?  Come in and  pitch your show!  Just want to work on productions, network with your peers or hone your craft in a safe, friendly environment?  Then this club is for you!

Stay tuned for updated meeting information.
