Title: Children/Youth Video Production Specialist

General Summary and Objective: To serve Crossroads through production of audio/visual content for the Family Ministry Team. This person will also assist other ministry areas as needed, holding to the mission of Disciples Making Disciples. They will work within the structure of the Media Team, including the Media Director, Creative Team, Worship Leaders, Family Ministry Leaders, Lighting Designer, Graphic Design/Communications Team, Support staff, and volunteer artists and technicians.

•Produce professional quality videos, and train volunteers for other ministry areas as needed
•Minister alongside the staff and volunteers you work with, working within a team environment to creatively plan and execute videos and other worship elements
•Meet in pre-production, ascertain creative needs, suggest solutions, organize the process of the workflow and execute it (book talent, shoot, produce, edit, mix, etc.)
•Capture photos/video or recruit volunteers to capture photos/video, of various church activities that happen on/off campus for later use
•Work in technical production of events/services across our campuses and in support of outreach events as needed
•Perform other duties as required by Media Ministry or Family Ministry Team leaders
Requirements (knowledge, skills, abilities, education, etc.)
•Experience: preferred 2 years or more in Ministry setting
•Experience with all aspects of pre and post production: including creating scripts, location scouting, booking talent, using artificial lighting and capturing high quality audio, creating computer graphics and special effects, using video camera/DSLR in both in-house and remote environments
•Experience with Adobe Premier Pro CC is a must
•Additional Experience required: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
•Familiarity with editing streaming video output saved in .mov/.mp4 formats
•Characteristics: Innovative, Initiator who sets and achieves goals, team builder, strong verbal and written communication skills, willing to do whatever it takes, team player, detail oriented, versed in current Video trends
•Requirements: Become a member of Crossroads and affirm the Vision and direction of Crossroads
•Live AVL experience is a plus
•Champion of vision, values, and culture of Crossroads Christian Church
•Display a character that demonstrates the qualities of a follower of Jesus Christ- loving God and loving others, exhibiting a desire to live in relationship with those within the church and without, and is willing to live according to our staff covenant
Crossroads Christian Church is a growing church of nearly 3,500 in attendance during 3 weekend services. Our vision, and sole passion, is to be “Disciples making Disciples”. We are a body of believers who “Follow Jesus, are Changed by Jesus and On Mission with Jesus.” Our worship services consist of contemporary worship and sound doctrinal teaching to encourage the growth of our members and to enable them to go and make disciples here, near and far away.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel will be required in for church camps, retreats, etc. as these events arise.
