Hi there, we are doing a documentary on COVID 19 called colorado recovers. We were looking for several positions for internship and was looking at what your procedures are for this.
Interns:

 

Social Media Internship
Internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a documentary film, as well as build your portfolio. You’ll work directly with our Producer to identify, conceptualize, design and execute campaigns to boost engagement, educate and inform our audience about our film as well as any events, fundraising campaigns. Our Social Media Intern will help create content calendars, develop and distribute text and video-based content, monitor social media channels and support promotional and marketing efforts. This is an unpaid opportunity, but it does allow you to work remotely, gain experience on a film set, and have a flexible schedule.

Position Requirements:
• Junior or Senior from an accredited university
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to develop online audiences, create engaging written, graphic and video content, research a variety of topics, and organize graphics and vlogs
• Flexible schedule that may require occasional evening and weekends
• Availability to attend strategy meetings
• Preferred Experience: Social media – 1 year, marketing- 1 year

 

Web Development Internship
Internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Denver’s film industry and build your portfolio. Are you a master of all things coding and design? We’re looking for a Web Development Intern for our documentary film project. We’re looking for someone who can design and code a website that translates the overall look and feel of the documentary. As the role requires consideration user of experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary. Once a website has been created, the Web Development Intern will generally assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the website. This is an unpaid opportunity, but it does allow you to work remotely, gain experience on a film set, and have a flexible schedule.

Position Requirements:
• Junior or Senior from an accredited university
• Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
• Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets and business goals
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working on a team

 

Grant Proposal Writer Internship
Internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Denver’s film industry and build your portfolio. We are looking for an individual who is responsible, dependable, has good time management and communication skills, and can work well independently. You’ll work with leadership and volunteers to identify areas of needs where a grant would help solve a problem or fill a need. Our Grant Writing Intern will gather documentation and assist in the fulfillment of necessary requirements for various funding opportunities. Working with the Executive Producer to create a database of potential grants and timelines for the entire grant writing process. This is an unpaid opportunity, but it does allow you to work remotely, gain experience on a film set, and have a flexible schedule.

Requirements:
• Junior or Senior from an accredited university
• Ability to maintain a Grant Calendar
• Experience researching and organizing fundraising opportunities
• Strong written communication skills
• Learn how to research and write grants.
• Experience assisting in the process of researching, writing, and editing grant proposals (both private foundations and government grants)

 

Photographer Internship
Internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Denver’s film industry and build your portfolio. We’re looking for a Photography Intern to support our documentary film. You’ll maintain their equipment, which may include digital and film cameras, travel to locations for photoshoots and set up shots in natural or studio environments. Our intern will work in conjunction with our Producer to create regular content for social media posts, take On Set Behind the scenes photos.

Requirements:
• Junior or Senior from an accredited university
• Must have your own computer with access to Excel or, Apple equivalent, Numbers.
• Must be proficient in Adobe applications Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Preferred to be proficient in Adobe applications Light Room, InDesign and After Effects.
• Strong written communication skills .
• Experience with graphic design and content creation for social media
• College degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in Google Drive, Google Sheets and Google Documents.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

 

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures:
If we are on set, we will provide temperature checks, masks if you do not have them and will have sanitizer and social distancing on set. Besides BTS we will be mainly remote.
