Free application for federal student aid (FAFSA)
It is recommended that every student apply for the FAFSA every year they attend.

College Opportunity Fund (COF)
The Colorado College Opportunity Fund is a free stipend offered to all eligible Colorado residents attending undergraduate college. You need only apply once, but will need to authorize the COF to be applied to your tuition bill every semester through your MyCCA portal.

Institutional Scholarships
Institutional Scholarships and Grants are a great way to help finance your education.These grants can change from year to year so we encourage you to check back often to see if there is a grant that you qualify for.

Community College System Scholarships
The Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges is able to offer several scholarship opportunities each year for students attending or planning to attend any of the 13 Colorado Community College System colleges.

Work Study Opportunities

Work in the CFS Equipment Cage
Gain additional experience with cameras and equipment and learn how to operate an equipment rental house while earning extra money!
Job responsibilities include:
- Check in/out equipment orders
- Assist with camera trainings and certifications
- Inventory equipment
Current students should talk to Aaron Koehler if interested

Work at the CFS Front Desk
- Greeting guests and prospective students
- Give tours of the building
- Help facilitate events
- Assist with additional projects
Current students should talk to Haley Heer if interested

Additional Work Study Positions at CCA
The Community College of Aurora has many other work study positions available outside of the Colorado Film School as well.
Additional work-study opportunities may be found through the MyCCA portal once you have been accepted as a student at the Community College of Aurora.
Funding Production Costs

Donation Letters
The Colorado Film School provides donation letters upon request that can be used to solicit donations of food from local restaurants and businesses to be used to provide food for your cast and crew on set during production days.

From the Heart Producutions
From the Heart Productions Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is to help indie filmmakers get film funding.

Crowd Sourcing
Take advantage of available crowd source funding options, such as Seed and Spark and GoFundMe, to help mitigate production costs.
