Seeking Acting, Video and Film-making Instructors for kids!

If you like working with elementary-age kids and creating videos or performing, then Talk to the Camera is where you belong!

Talk to the Camera create FUN engaging movies and videos. Looking for Energetic person to film a “Harry Potter” movie 1 day a week to start.

We also have online instructing opportunities.

Responsibilities
Learning the Talk to the Camera curriculum
Becoming knowledgeable about video creation process
Driving to schools/locations
Teaching elementary students
Following process for sharing video footage
Communications with teammates, parents and school staff
Answering all emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner
Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children
Familiar with video creation
Experience in performance, film or visual storytelling
Classroom management skills
Reliable and punctual
Pass background check
Reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time Teacher: Starting @ $20 an hour

1-2 hours once a week

Job Type: Very flexible part-time

Salary: $20.00 /hour

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour

Class Size
Maximum # – 9
Social Distancing
Instructors and students will maintain a distance of 3-6 feet as much as possible.
Face Masks
We require face masks throughout the duration of class.
When appearing on camera children can remove their masks while distanced from other kids and our instructor/s.
Hand Cleaning
Students will be required to wash their hands or rub in hand sanitizer before entering the classroom.
Where soap and water is not readily available, we will be fully supplied with hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Use of hand sanitizer will be encouraged throughout the course of the day.
We’ll remind your kiddos to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Temperature
Upon arrival for camp as a part of our enhanced check-in procedures, TTTC staff or teachers will take and record students’ temperatures. Any child with a fever (defined as a temperature of 100.4 or above) will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to return home

Cover coughs and sneezes
We’ll remind your kiddos to always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
Throw used tissues in the trash.
Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after coughs and sneezes. If soap and water are not readily available, hand sanitizer (60% alcohol) will be used.
We are keeping up-to-date with the experts, such as the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
