Live Stream Operators Needed

Live Stream Operators Needed

Event Description:
Dazzle Presents has been putting on live streams since the beginning of the pandemic. We have currently built a camera rig using iPhones, gimbals, and an iPad running Switcher Studio at Dazzle in downtown Denver. Up until now, we have been running the rig ourselves but are in need of an operator to cover some of the live streams. The pay is $18/hour.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
– Have some experience running camera switching software.
– Have some experience with Cat5e networking (IE: understanding how ethernet cable works and how to build/repair cables).
– Have some experience using Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.
– Have some experience using Restream.io.
– Have some knowledge of how RTMP keys and URLS are used for different stream types.
– Have a good eye for interesting camera angles, while making sure the audience is seeing what they want/need to see.
– Have a general understanding of music, specifically jazz, and how musicians interact during solos, etc.
– Be willing to work on evenings.
– Be willing to be paid via PayPal.
– Be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
– Have a good attitude.
– Be willing to follow constantly changing COVID-19 rules and regulations.
– Have a working laptop with WiFi and/or ethernet port with Chrome browser. Sorry, no Safari unless you hate the internet.
– Be willing to work with a qualified sound engineer.
– Have reliable transportation

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures:
Dazzle and Dazzle Presents take COVID-19 very seriously. Dazzle has limited the maximum amount of people in the building to 20 employees or contractors at any given time during the lockdown. During “less strict” times, Dazzle’s capacity is 50 patrons, not including employees. Surfaces are sanitized daily and between uses. Hand sanitizer and working bathrooms with soap are provided. Face coverings must be worn and worn properly at all times (sorry, you can’t stick your nose out of your mask). All contractors, employees, and/or patrons are temperature checked when entering the building or shortly thereafter and given a questionnaire to determine if they are allowed to stay in the building. If you or anyone you know has contracted COVID recently or is feeling ill, you should not come into Dazzle or any other venue involved with our work.
