Grit House Instructors Selected for Series Fest

Digital series "Broke Boys" is now an Official Selection for Series Fest: Season Seven as part of the Digital Short Series Competition! Adjunct instructors Justin Lewis, Alicia Heinrich, and Terrell Lamont produced the series under GritHouse Studios along with Impavid Entertainment. Creators Terrell Lamont and MJ Alhabeeb Jr came up with the series loosely based on their own paths as minority filmmakers. Broke Boys explores racism, film industry politics, poverty, and how far people are willing to go to achieve a dream. The series is humorous, emotional, thrilling, and dramatic as they explore the messy and hysterical lives of their two main characters.
