Remote Live Video Switcher and Moderator for Kids Show

Remote Live Video Switcher and Moderator for Kids Show

Beanstalk is a venture-backed startup located in Denver. The position itself is remote. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting in early with a company that is redefining children’s programming.

Beanstalk is the first online show where kids ages 3-6 lead the way. At Beanstalk, kids learn by doing. Each child interacts directly with our cast and animated characters. We are based in Denver, but this position is remote.

All of our cast broadcasts remote from their own location with green screen, lighting, and microphones provided by Beanstalk.

We’re in need of someone to be the live editor to mix together the various remote broadcasts from our cast, animated characters, and interstitial videos.

This position is from 8am to 12pm every weekday. The rate is $60/day. We will also pay $15/hr. for additional work, including the time needed to get you set up and trained on how to work with Ecamm Pro, streaming, and Zoom.

* Have an excitement for the future of children’s programming
* Have some experience running camera switching software. We use Ecamm Pro for Mac
* Have some knowledge of how RTMP keys and URLS are used for different stream types
* Have experience with Zoom
* Optimize green screen settings within Ecamm for each cast member
* Combine broadcasts from cast members into one using greenscreen and Ecamm Pro
* Pay attention to kids being called on during the show and unmute/mute individuals when necessary
* Smoothly transition between intro videos, live cast broadcast, and interstitial videos
* Interface virtually with our Executive Producer, Senior Videographer, and Chief Product Officer for direction and feedback

You must have a fast internet connection and a reasonably fast Mac to run the software smoothly
Due to the nature of working with kids, we will need to do a background check
You must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures:
This is a remote position, so there are no measures that need to be taken. If we ever meet in person, we will take all precautions seriously including social distancing and wearing masks.
